Philosophy

At The Taylor Studio, lessons are designed with today’s kids in mind.  From using computers to practice new concepts to playing music that your kids adore, I don’t just teach your child to play the piano.  I teach them to love making music.

Whether your child begins on a piano or electronic keyboard, is brand new to piano lessons or a transfer from another studio, I make sure that each child:

• learns to play the piano in a supportive environment that focuses on your child’s individual successes
• develops their own creativity through composing and improvisation
• is presented topics in a variety of formats for the most engaged learning possible
• builds a solid musical foundation which allows them to easily move into new areas of the arts as their interests evolve.

The Taylor Studio’s focus is and always will be on bringing out the creative voice in every child.
